WP5 – Transnational network for capitalization
The activities of the Work Packing 5 are carried out by the Local Development Agency of Langhe Monferrato Roero – LA.MO.RO - (PP7). This work package is aimed to the capitalisation and long term sustainability of the results of the project.
The crucial output of this package is the setting up of the VITAL VILLAGES transnational association, which will deal with:
- monitoring of pilot projects and ownership of the governance model in order to disseminate this among its members;
- transnational capitalisation and promotion of vital villages and the tourist facilities they offer;
- promoting the extension of the association and the work programme.
Another important output is the exchange of good practice, taking place through transnational workshops addressed at the stakeholders, study visits to the pilot areas in order to share experience and start up local projects and, at the end of the project, participation at an international festival of sustainable tourism in rural villages.
Training courses are foreseen in local villages for the local administrator and entrepreneurs and particular attention will be paid to so called “vulnerable groups” (women, the unemployed, young people) in order to promote new entrepreneurship and the application of new governance models.
Furthermore, social occasions will be held at the end of each training session to give the participants the chance to meet up, exchange experience and build networks.
